The museum is really neat and clean, is well maintained but the gardens there need to be looked after. There is a kala vatika where various art events are organised such as painting exhibition, book fare, singing and more. I find this very helpful and essential for the growth of Art in the culture. Would suggest everyone to go there. There is a fees for the visit in museum but entry in exhibitions are free.

It was very astonishing place to visit who loves to know about the historical sculptures & arts.
Unfortunately I couldn't spend much time, hardly I could spend 10 minutes but it is really time taking who really wants to see the deep artistic culture of India.
It takes minimum 30-40 minutes to visit properly.

Can visit if you are a so intrested about monument and ruines or if you have ample time to roam.
Management need to improve the maintenance and bring in some initiative to attract people over .

Most the sculptures are damaged and ruined aged ago.

The Museum is soo neat and clean. They have entry tickets of 20₹ per person and if you want to take Photography there is extra charge of 100₹ for that. Timing for opening and closing is 10 AM to 5 PM. They have so much collections of stone art and sculpture of Lord Shiva, Vishnu , Ganesha .And also having Jain's, Buddha sculpture. There is also huge coins collections of Ancient times in first floor. And also having traditional pictures , models , clothes, jewelleries and many things of Indigenous people of Gond and Baiga Communities.. There is also paintings of Rani Durgavati which shows her bravery story.. If you are having so much interest in History then you will love to go there but If you are in Jabalpur you should go there because it tells lots of ideas about the culture and traditions of Jabalpur and you should know about it :)
