Veethi Sankul is unique museum which depicts growth of Man from stone age. It has a large collection of Utensils, clothes, weapon, huts, instruments and other items in a chronological manner. It is located near CM house and 2.4 Km from Boat club. A beautiful and informative museum to visit.

A great place to see 'veethi sankul museum' in Manav Sangrahlaya.

Human civilization starting from the stone age is well depicted at this place.
So many things, a lot of things I would say, are kept from ancient time and are maintained at par level.
What a maintenance, hats off to all the people who work there!
You will relish each and every thing you see there. It's too good, trust me.
Must visit this place in Bhopal.
It is so big that it may take your whole day to spent there and understand the human history. But it is totally a worth place to spend your time.

To know how we evolved, how we used to love and how we survived?
Each and everything that one wants to know, it is there!

If you're human it is quite obvious that you will be more interested about knowing about our ancestors and evolution . This is the place where you'll get the process of our evolution from Primates onwards. You'll also get the cultural variation of India from different tribes and there artifacts...

My personal experience was not bad because the museum was very good
But most of the things in museum was artificial or man made

Some criticism first! 🤔
1. The walls need white washing urgently and some of the galleries need to be repainted because it's really ruining the overall look. They should start from the entrance. ( I know that the maintenance work was paused to the pandemic, but It should restart now! )

2. They should put some background music system in the galleries because it's really silent and kills the vibe! Folk music or traditional music could also work.

Some good things! ❤
The overall arrangement of the galleries and the decorations are amazing! It's a really good place to hang out with friends and family and to know about our ancestors and tribes in a joyful manner!

Veethi Sankul is a part of the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya. It's an indoor museum. The museum starts with the beginnings of man found in the Narmada Valley & expostulates on Darwin's Theory of Evolution.

Moving on, we saw further artifacts of the different tribes of India. Dwelling complex models, a few of which were richly decorated! Then folk & tribal musical instruments, masks, performing arts, variety of ornaments etc...
