Tribal Museum is a rich tapestry of exhaustive exhibits showcasing the tribal art and culture. It highlights various aspects of the tribes in Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. The artistic displays are mesmerising as it creates awareness about the tribal rituals, customs, forms of worship. It was created and dedicated to the tribal people of Madhya Pradesh. The vast gallery showcases the way of life of seven significant tribes of Madhya Pradesh - The Bheel, Gond, Korku, Baiga, Sahariya, Bhariya and Kol. Spread across 7 acres of land, Tribal Museum also holds an auditorium, a small boutique shop of artefacts and a restaurant. It stands out from the rest of museums in the country because of the way the exhibits are canvassed. Although the artworks are difficult to decipher, it beautifully depicts the tales of tribes. With over 30% of the tribal population, this rich repository of traditional artwork and aesthetics is commissioned by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

A place worth visiting. Widely spread area around 2kms showing various Indian tribe culture. To fully explore you will need at least 2-3 hrs. We must promote it and people must visit it once to enhance knowledge of Indian culture.

It spreads over a many acres on the Shyamla Hills. This museum depicts the story of mankind in time and space. Time constraint we were able to spent just 1 hr, but if you plan a visit keep at-least 2 hrs to enjoy the entire museum.

Had a wonderful time with friends.❤ There's a lot to explore. It opens at 11:00 am till 6:00 pm. The museum needs a bit of maintenance on the inside, a little background music system should be installed because it feels so silent! The walls need white washing but the overall arrangement of gallery and decor is pretty amazing! 🤩
