Brilliant..with the exception that photography is not allowed inside. Outside photography will cost you 50bucks and is not worth it. Enter from the Temple side else if you come from the art gallery side you shall have to walk a lot and the entry ticket counter is at the temple gate only. Also note that shoes and bags have to be left outside. They charge small change for keeping your stuff in a rack outside and provide tokens for bags. A volunteer takes you through the museum and explains everything very well. It is a delight. Do visit if you are in Trivandrum.

A beautiful place with the gardens and the history of the place. Brilliant photos will take you back in time. Make sure you have few hours dedicated for this while you visit the Padmanabhaswamy temple.
