Beautiful painting of mythology on walls and celling, old coins, stamp, murals, sculpture will take you hundreds of years back. Actually this place is more than museum. Amazing experience after seeing the oil painting with three dimensional effect.

A must visit place for a slice of history on the various rulers in Kerala. The place is maintained and managed well. The artifacts and history on display is well written.
Shops near it are a good place to buy souvenir.

A small, beautiful palace that is now a museum. The place gives us insight into the lives and history of aristocratic family of Kerala and their reign throughout. Was very informative and interesting.

It's a small palace converted into a museum. It is located in the first floor and the ticket counter is available there.

The entry ticket is ₹5 per head, which is very nominal. There is a QR code outside the palace using which we can pay and get the tickets.

The interiors of the palace looks good and photogenic otherwise there is nothing much to look at this palace. There are few guides in the museum, who will explain about the palace and the kings. There is a small pond near to it which adds to the beauty. There is also a temple next to it, where only Hindus are allowed.

There is an open parking space for this palace, where we can park our vehicles.

We visited here on Saturday. The place is open on Saturday, and it has been wrongly mentioned on Maps.

If you are here in Mattancherry, then you can pay a visit to this Palace. A small walk from here is the Jew Town and the Boating area.

History over 300 years old well preserved and presented to today's India. Goes to show how this country and culture have taken everything and still thrived in it's inclusive way of living. Must visit in old Kochi.

Entry fee - Rs 5 /- per head.
This palace is a museum which consists of antiques of rulers and information about the origin of Cochin and it's culture. You'll love it if you're a history buff.

The palace is great for a short visit. You can finish the entire grounds in 30 minutes max. The entrance fee is just 5 rupees and they let me take pictures for free. Nice one.

The entry fee Is an incredibly low ₹5. For me, the highlight of the museum are the beautifully painted intricate wall decorations as well as the carved wooden ceiling beams. Other objects of interest are paintings and photographs of former royalty and what I took to be litters in which the royals were carried.
