Attended the inauguration of this lovely cute little gramophone museum and research centre on 26th January 2020. Mohammad Shafi of Calicut’s Gramophoneworld has made a lovely museum where one can see over 100 year old gramophones! Museum has many old records (They played a speech of Mahatma Gandhi during the inauguration for example!) The museum has ample parking and is on the main road between vythiri and lakkidi view point. You won’t miss it if you go slowly (it’s very near the turn for pookode lake - slightly ahead of it). I would recommend all music lovers in the area to stop for a while and get a glimpse of a piece of recorded music history!

I attended the inaguration function. Very beautiful atmosphere and lovely place. Muhammed shafi bai and their friends arranged it very carefully.
