Nice place to hang out with friends. Its 11km from main jorhat city. Place holds good vibes and peaceful environment. The park has seating places and other amenities. Local people should visit.

Important historical place near Jorhat. We were lucky enough to meet the management committee members and employees on occasion of Independence Day celebration at Maidam campus. We have discussed various issues with them. All people are good and humble, they served us tea and biscuits in their office. Thanks 🙏🏼

There is a small museum near the maidam. Don't forget to see the Phukon pukhuri. This is a very good place to bring small kids as the place have a park.
This place is approximately 10km from Jorhat town. Road condition is good.
