Nice place. Maritime museum. Navy related artefacts. Good content. Non AC. So preferable to go in the cooler months.

Entry fee is Rs 10 & 5 for adults & children respectively.

Also co-located with Vishakha District Museum. Non AC. Very average display over 03 floors (G + 2).

Overall a one time see.

Nice place to know about the History of Visakhapatnam. In this place you can visit the archeological monuments also. Mostly Visakha museum about the Naval Base, wars, ships and wars against other countries especially with Pakistan we can observe there how many times that India won against Pakistan in wars. Children can learn more about the History. The other building which is about archeological monuments where we can see the Kings, Swords, Old Coins and Notes also.

This place has some really cool artifacts from the history from the missile Japan dropped on vizag to the 2 tiger replicas along with the photos showing the history of vizag. It's not quite popular as it is tucked away from the main road and not much known to the public. Worth a visit if you are a tourist.

A place to see all the naval related history, small warships, submarines, the missiles used during naval warfare, the flags used for communication between two ships and whatnot every detail related to navy.Along with that ,on the back there is another building which contains history of vizag, kings, old currencies and coins, dead butterflies which were preserved, corals, different guns and swords used during olden days. Also contains palanquin, armours of kings, old wall clocks etc.In a nutshell it is one time watch, good place to help children to show them our history.Entry tickets for adults is Rs10 and Rs5 for children.Friday is a holiday.Timings from Monday to Thursday:11 am to 7 pm.On Saturday and Sunday it's open from 12 pm to 8 pm.

A very informative and nice place for families and kids. All people visiting Vizag must visit. I visit this place at least once in a year. The Entry fee for Adults is 10 Rupees and Children is 5 Rupees. Very near to beach. plam Beach Hotel and Vuda Park. I visited on a Sunday. On Sunday it open at 12 Noon till 8 PM. You can see history of Indian Navy Ships, submarines and Aircraft. On the other building you can see archealogical things from the history. Kids will learn so much.
