Hi, Assembly Theatre, via Botanical Garden road ooty, is a Government owned theatre.
Tamil, English, Hindi Movies are mostly showed.
Tickets ₹100 fr 1st 2nd 3rd class
Seating series A-B-C D are the back end seats corner no proper screen view,
The remaing seating series are good to screen View.
Good seats, clear view, Audio quality is OK.
NO CANTEEN during INTERVALS
Free to go outside for snacks purchase

Decent theater in Ooty. Usually other language films or low budget films are getting released here. Theater owner can consider releasing big star movies as well. People prefer to come to assembly rooms compared to the other theater in Ooty.

Feedback:
1. Weekend shows can be increased like below timings
11.30am, 2.30pm, 6pm, 8.30pm
2. Show started 10 mins early where many people missed few scenes. If the show is at 6, start the show at 6 o clock or 5 mins later. Don't start before that.
3. Canteen can be brought inside the premise
4. Booking ticket via bookmyshow is available mostly for weekends, most of the times server is down for booking
5. Seat layout can be shown to Customer who comes to book ticket offline, so we can select the seats as per our preference.

Comfortable and clean. Sound system is okay. Wish they had soft aisle lights inside so people who go late for the shows can find their way around.

It was awesome to watch a festival movie . Good

Its a nice theatre with 4k sound effects but little small theatre with gentle

Not much impressed with them anyways having an movie hall is good enough in ooty but they seriously need to work on hygeince n all other stuff. If people can come to ooty they can afford 200/300Rs ticket but atleast make the arrangements

Only location is good , and very old theater
