Star Theatre

A very old theater which is still functional, situated in the heart of the city.

Not the best for a movie watching experience due to:-
- badly designed couple sofa seats without a bottle holder space.
- poor doors which always gives the noise when opened and closed (mainly in the balcony)
- sound system: Just works. They're using the old tech like 'Qube' instead of Dolby Atmos / Surrounds, this makes the audio experience slightly reduced.
- toilet spacing is not adequate
- AC will be turned off a while after movie starts.

Pros:
+ Ticket price is 120 even for balcony (as of Sep 2022)
+ Situated in a central location which is easily accessible (though congested at times)
+ Ample space for parking bikes and cars with a fee of 10 rs for bikes, but no shades though.

I had an bad experience! Seating is not comfortable, Washrooms are pathetic! Sound is not upto the mark they have a room for improvements but they are not willing to do that! If a tall person sit in a front row you can’t see the movie. completely not recommended, they have to improve their service!

Everything was too good but
Seat ⭐ is one the worst every seen !! Total discomfort is sofa type 2 seater!! Damn sure back pain will come.

Booked unknowingly got a seat nearby ac but it was too cool. we can't get chill in other seats it was too hot seat spacing is less if we get a tall guy in front of us we are unlucky sound was okay after interval we don't even know what's going on sound becomes less.

Theatre has been renovated nicely. Watched Vaarisu movie. Once upon a time this screen was famous for screening hit movies like Vidhi, Mundhanai Mudichu, Vaithegi Kaathirunthaal etc., Lately due to lack of maintenance it lost its charm.

Worst theatre in Trichy. Pathetic staff. Sound quality is worst. Washrooms are bad. Poor maintenance. Cleaning is not done between shows. Spoils the experience of watching movie.

Ok level theatre, don't check drinking persons, and smoking, bathroom is worst, first class ticket a,b,c,d series line don't hear the sound
