Sree Padmanabha Theatre

Situated at kizhakekkota (east fort) bus stop, this 50 year old theatre is a very accessible one located at the heart of the city. Parking is available, but mainly for two wheelers. Theatre is well maintained and hygienic. Audio quality is good, screen also is good. The seats can be improved a bit. Snacks are available in average prices. Overall, for the price (140,150 rupees), this is a recommended theatre renovated nicely.

The whole theatre can be improved, especially the service. They cancelled the show just 30 minutes before, for which the tickets were sold out. They failed to give proper notice on that. Also the washrooms are literally conjusted, you'll find it difficult to move in there. It should be maintained well. The premises of the theatre is full of paper and plastic waste. The management should look into this issue to maintain the cleanliness of the theatre premises.

One of the famous theatres in Thiruvananthapuram, recently renovated at East fort area. This theatre have 2 screens "sreepadmanabha" & "Devipriya". Watched movie at screen 1. Sound quality is not so good as the speakers are vibrating and the screen quality seems little bit low. Not enough parking space for 4 wheelers ,had to park nearby the Gandhi park. 2 wheelers can park inside the theatre complex.

Watched in 4K all Interior arrangements were good except screen size. Screen should have bigger than the current size. Experienced balcony from back row. But better to watch from balcony is front row and maximum upto middle row then it will be good experience.

While comparing to Nowadays screen size. This has small screen. Dolby Atmos system - Superb, Neat seating arrangements, Well maintained food court. Lack of Parking facility. Ticket rare are affordable.

Two-screen theatre with one 4K projection and the other 2K. The ticket rate is 150 for both the theatre.
Screen 1 (Sree Padmanabha) has a balcony and the screen size is small compared with the hall size.
The seats are good. Better choose seats at the very front row for better viewing from the balcony.
Screen 2 (Devipriya) has a 2K projection
