The oldest surviving cinema in North Lakhimpur.. Though at first place it wasn't a fan favourite, with the closure of Surya Cinema and Sankha Cinema Bishwa Talkies made sure that the folks of Lakhimpur wouldn't be deprived of large screen and the cinematic experience...
With the revamp of the theatre recently, it is expected that Bishwa Talkies will be able to pull the crowd once again and regain its lost glory...

Worst time management. Picture and sound quality is not good well as compared to gold cinema hall. Overall it's okay👌.

Newly upgraded theatre but lack surround sound. They could improve the audio system for a better experience.

sound system is still needs a renovation. others aspects are more than average. good one in context of our small town.

I used to come here since childhood but then being old, the architecture was different. Now they have renovated its interiors completely, and watching a cinema here is very comforting. The prices are very affordable and so is the beverages.

The make over of the hall in recent times have definitely allowed family and friends to watch movie at Biswa Talkies. It was a good initiative by the owner of the cinema hall to revive an old movie hall and stands it at par with other good movie hall. Kudos to the all the staff of Biswa Talkies for managing the hall with good sound system and air conditioning (which is an essential aspect now for all cinema hall). Thanks
