I visited Dambuk to attend the just concluded Orange festival and stayed in one of these hut resorts that is a permanent, open round the year kind of dwelling. If you are coming from Dibrugarh, it is situated 13 kilometers before the Dambuk festival venue. The place is called Zakhtum, near Bomzir.
Along with these huts, different kinds of tents are also available. Some huts have attached washrooms, there is common bathing and washing area too. The ambiance and surrounding is very pleasing with Dibang river flowing right there. One cannot get bored here, even for a moment. The kitchen is quite thriving and what I really liked is compostable plates n spoons are used in the kitchen.
