This is the only Jummah mosque for muslims in Thakkolam. The original mosque was built in 1918. Later it was renovated in 1997. Then in the year 2011 this new mosque was constructed with an estimation of 60 lakhs. This mosque's construction work was completed and opened on 23.11.2014.
