It is the only masjid in Jhirpani, Koel Nagar

Nearest mosque to NIT rourkela. As the name indicates, it is sunni jamat masjid. Single floor but enough for local people. In koel nagar muslims are less so for that single floor and small area is fine. It is madarsa cum masjid so there are students who are taking islamic education there. Timing for juma namaz is at 1:15 pm. road parking is there and wuzukhana is also there. Some parts of the mosque are still under construction. There is no AC inside the mosque. I will recommend NITians to go there for juma namaz.
