These old Irani Mosque is a heritage building listed under best construction in mumbai.
The tiles and marble are specially imported from Iran. The design of this mosque make you feel like you are in Iran. A must visit for photo enthusiasts.

One of the most important landmark of Shias of Mumbai. Beautiful Iranian tile art. A very spritual and peaceful place.

Architecture is marvelous... You will defenetly love this place, in the bylanes of dongri you will find splendid Iranian architecture, It's a mosque as the name suggest, for non- Muslim guys can ask and visit the main entrance but they will not allow you to prayer hall.
Their is little pond inside, which adds on too the beauty of the architecture. you will not believe in between congested place of south Mumbai u have such beautiful mosque hidden from so many years.

The masjid is beautifully designed and built. The artwork on the walls, ceiling, floor is intricate and is in Mughal style. Entry is allowed inside the Masjid complex but not inside the inner hall which is used for prayer. If you love old architecture and artwork, you must visit this place. Open on all days.

I am not from Mumbai, as far I know, Dongri is the Shiite hub in Mumbai..there are a lot of Masjids: Mughal Masjid, Khoja Masjid, Zainabia, Najafi House... But I visited Khoja Masjid this year to participate in Azadaari. Some of pictures that I captured at 9th-10th Muharram at Khoja Masjid.

The most beautiful Iranian mosque in our city Mumbai.
The exterior and interior is just so very beautiful with mosaic of blue tiles brought from Persia.
The mosque is 162 years old built in 1860 in Shirazi-style of south-western Iran.
It has two minarets at its entrance, no dome, and a splendid rectangular pool of water in its forecourt.
The mosque was built by a wealthy Iranian merchant and now it is maintained by a trust set up by his family.

A heritage site and a pretty looking mosque that has an Irani architectural touch to it. What's unique is the blue tiling all across and fine details in the architectural touch to it.

This is photo enthusiasts treat as this mosque looks beautiful both from the outside and inside. Amidst the congested hustling lanes lies this beautiful structure that's really calm and splendid.

There is a little pond in the middle and the lanterns and decoratives add to the spark of this place. This place is truly a marvel within the city.
