It's one of the oldest masjid in Pune. Importance of mosques for imparting proper Islamic worship and knowledge. This is generally a very symbolic place for a Muslim Army personal, being a humble way for them to recreat. The primary purpose of the mosque is to serve as a place where armed people can offer namaz to their almighty.This masjid is open for civilian personnel also.This masjid have a capacity of around thousand people at a time. This masjid is located in the premises of AFMC. So civilians has to go through some security checking to enter into the masjid. This masjid is administered by AFMC Pune.
