Its a big masjid and is neat and clean. There is lot of space to perform prayers and ablution facilities are also good. There is small stall right at the entrance where you can get few items such as fragrances and skull caps. The masjid has all the required facilities and is easily noticed from the road.

There is tourist bus parking also available there, there is some shpos are opening 24 hours ,
Masjid contributes funds for colleges , for aflal ul ulama course and some other course also available on that college .
Masjid is 2.5 km far away from the sea. Chombal fishing harbour is near there just 3 km only. Its a famous masjid located near mahe, The traditional, Relegious place on side of NH17. Historic.

with the dismantal of the old mosque, the importance and beauty of the historical monument was lost...
