Along with clothes, the body should also be clean. Purity of mind is also necessary according to one's own means, one should avoid bad thoughts.[7]
Civilization and politeness
Muslims consider the mosque as the house of Allah regardless of which sect of Muslims it belongs to. Silence and civility are emphasized in the mosque so that those who pray and read the Quran are not bored. Arguments or unnecessary worldly talk should also be avoided in mosques, although communal matters may be discussed. Running or stepping loudly and talking loudly in the mosque is against civility and decency. In the same way, it is not considered good to do anything that bothers the worshipers, for example, eating onion, garlic, radish or any other smelly thing is also prohibited and the blessed hadiths are also referred to in this regard. .
Clothing repair
One should come to the mosque wearing clean clothes. Women should wear clothing that covers them. Similarly, men come dressed appropriately. Generally, Muslims consider it good and rewarding to wear Arabic clothes in addition to regional clothes, but there is no such restriction on clothes in Islam, unless the clothes are in accordance with the principles of Islam.

طہارتترميم
اسلام میں طہارت کی بہت اہمیت ہے اور ایک حدیث کے مطابق یہ نصف ایمان ہے اس لیے مسجد میں آنے کے لیے پاک و صاف ہونا شرط ہے البتہ وضو آپ مسجد میں بھی آ کر کر سکتے ہیں۔ مسلمانوں کے اکثر مکاتبِ فکر میں مساجد میں حالتِ جنابت میں ٹھہرنا جائز نہیں اور مسجد الحرام اور مسجد نبوی میں ایسی حالت میں داخلہ بھی جائز نہیں۔ لباس کے ساتھ ساتھ جسم بھی پاک ہونا چاہئیے۔ ذہن کی طہارت بھی اپنے بس کے مطابق ضروری ہے یعنی برے خیالات سے پرہیز کرنا چاہئیے۔[7]
تہذیب و شائستگیترميم
مسلمان مسجد کو اللہ کا گھر سمجھتے ہیں چاہے اس کا تعلق مسلمانوں کے کسی بھی فرقہ سے ہو۔ مسجد میں خاموشی اور تہذیب و شائستگی کی تاکید کی جاتی ہے تاکہ نماز اور قرآن پڑھنے والے تنگ نہ ہوں۔ مساجد میں لڑائی جھگڑا کرنا یا بلا ضرورت دنیاوی باتوں سے بھی پرہیز کرنا چاہیے اگرچہ اجتماعی معاملات پر بحث کی جا سکتی ہے۔ مسجد میں دوڑنا یا زور سے قدم رکھنا اور اونچی آواز میں بات کرنا تہذیب و شائستگی کے خلاف ہے۔ اسی طرح کوئی بھی ایسا کام کرنا جس سے نمازی تنگ ہوں، اچھا نہیں سمجھا جاتا مثلاً پیاز، لہسن، مولی یا کوئی اور بو دار چیز کھا کر جانے سے بھی منع کیا جاتا ہے اور اس سلسلے میں احادیث مبارکہ کا حوالہ بھی دیا جاتا ہے۔
لباسترميم
مسجد میں صاف ستھرا لباس پہن کر آنا چاہئیے۔ خواتین ایسا لباس پہن کر آئیں جس سے وہ با پردہ ہوں۔ اسی طرح مرد مناسب لباس پہن کر آئیں۔ عموماً مسلمان علاقائی لباس کے علاوہ عربی لباس بھی پہننا اچھا اور ثواب سمجھتے ہیں مگر اسلام میں لباس پر ایسی کوئی قدغن نہیں ہے مگر لباس اسلام کے اصولوں کے مطابق ہو۔
