Jamia Masjid Hanafia Beehama

It is a landmark of Beehama. This masjid is new. The old one existed in the eastern side of the spring. As the population grew, the requirement of a bigger place increased. This masjid was built utilising the services of good architects of the valley. It is on the north western side of the spring. The spring, being a landmark in itself, is crystal clear and has sweet palatable water besides few kinds of fish.

This is the main mosque situated in the heart of the Ganderbal district. Its four storey mosque in which thousands of people can worship with comfort. This mosque is accompanied by a small public park and a fountain which is used both for ablution and beautification purposes.

A place to find out the eternal peace and make your soul to Love the creator of this whole universe besides bowing your head before him , worshiping place for Muslim Community located at the tri-junction of Srinagar Leh route at main market Beehama Ganderbal Kashmir. A place which marks the right and left divide for famous high altitude adventorus Hill Resort Sonamarg and deepest Lake of the Valley, I.e The Manasbal Lake. A beautiful surroundings marked by the famous spring of Beehama Ganderbal with crystal clear waters with bluish green carps making rounds in groups of their own. A fountain has been placed in it which pumps its waters to the sky making beautiful scene of rainbows during the day time. A beautiful green lush park on the banks of this spring where people come to ease their stress and feel comfortable eternally, some times having and enjoying their lunch and dinner, sometimes easing their thirst. Beautiful mountains guarding from the back side adds to the scene where we have a famous hydro power canal running like a serpentine, the waters of which are supplied to whole of the Himalayan Urban Centre ie The Srinagar city. This place has the history of its own besides being the trade hub of the whole surrounding area. Come and enjoy and feel the cool atmosphere of the place with lovely people to interact with.

This place as i know is the center of attraction for the whole district .The Amazing Mosque made in the heart of ganderbal has all the facilities for the worshipers ,be it washroom, be it drinking water, toilets and the grand space for offering prayers. This Mosque is GRAND and run by the eminent people of beehama.They have constructed this mosque with more responsibility and dedication towards the path of almighty Allah.
