Visited Nov 2019. See attached pics. Nice masjid, Difficult to photograph, lack of space around it. The 'ek khamba' of this masjid is in the basement. The cartaker kindly unlocked the gate and let me have a look. Def worth visiting if you happen to be in Surat. Kind if unique structure, built without the help of any architect it seems.
