The Kalan Mosque in Nizamuddin is one of the mosques built in Delhi by Khan-i Jahan Junan Shah, wazir to the Tughluq Sultan Firoz Shah 1388 . Scholars attribute between two and seven mosques to the patronage of the wazir; three are generally considered to be his commissions, the Khirki Masjid and the Kalan Mosques ofShahjahanabad and Nizamuddin, both contained within modern-day Delhi.

This place is better known as kali masjid among the local people, I think the name needs to be changed for the people to know of its existence. It has many entrance almost one in every direction, You will often find Tablighi jamaat visiting here. Highly recommend if you want to find a mosque on Friday zuhr namaz which is Qutba 1:30 Namaz 1:40

Historical, beautiful. They have offered Jummah Salah twice to maintain social distancing. There are other Mosques nearby just in case you miss Salah here.
