The Raj Ghat is a memorial site to honour Mahatma Gandhi. The grounds are extensive and park like. The monument itself is a simple black marble platform which is the site of Ghandis cremation. The platform is open air and there is an ever burning flame. The complex also has 2 museums dedicated to Gandhi.

It was very peaceful. I visited with my family. There is no entry fee. The gardens are well maintained. There is museum/gallery on the opposite side of the road as well. Canteen and toilets are also there.

Huge space blocked off as a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi and then other prime minister’s of India then got their place too.

I was impressed by the huge space to commemorate a leader of that massive stature. The cleanliness was awesome, they have made it free and very easy for disabled visitors.

Must visit place for its importance. Well maintained. Have proper parking. Long walk required to explore fully. Background song added some calmness automatically. Lovely gardens

Raj Ghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Originally it was the name of a historic ghat of Old Delhi. Raj Ghat is primarily 12 sq feet platform made up of black marble. It represents the place where Mahatma Gandhi's last rites were performed on the next day of his assassination, i.e. on 31st January 1948. It is left open to the sky while an eternal flame burns at one end.

Very peaceful place and lot of greenery around the place must visit this place if you want to spend some time peacefully. This place is the smadhi of Mahatma gandhi , who is an important person in the indian history. The music played around the place is quite soothing.
However this place tends to get crowded during the weekends so plan accordingly. There is a charkha museum which also a must visit if you are visiting the Raj ghat.

Good time to visit there November to Febuary otherwise no space to hide in rainy season or summer. Not 100% family park because couples and some stray boys are there. Washroom is not clean as per need, parking area not exactly near by. Entry free of cost but they are not allowed any kind of food except water bottle and kid's milk bottle(feeder)
