This memorial was opened by chief minister J Jayalalithaa on June 18, 2015. Nice place to enjoy with families during the evening time. Virudhunagar municipality has done a wonderful job in maintainance of this memorial.

Sankaralinganar Memorial place in virudhunagar is a pride for our city.
Local municipality should take necessary steps to bring this place famous like kamarajar memorial place.
