T.N Angami Memorial

My parents and elders would say, nieko putsau Thepfülou Nakhro Angami... calling him to tell us how he stood to his word and remained truthful to the Naga People through those nascent political years leading from the forefront contributing his best todays in the India Protecterate System of Administration first then to move on into the heralding chapters of Naga determination to a God chosen nation in the global arena.

On the other hand, I see this beautiful monument echoing much about yet so little of his megaton contribution to his People in general and to this village in particular. I thought this is a nice place to visit anytime of the year more so when someone is on a historical venture.

Commonly known as Pfülo-u mekhru in the local dialogue is the final resting place of Late T Thepfülo-u Nakhro (T.N) Angami, who served as the first Speaker and the second Chief Minister of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
