Burdwan Medical College

Too much to handle of crowd of patients because other than Burdwan few more districts totally depends on it. These districts are Hoogly, Birbhum, Murshidabad, Bankura, Nadia etc. Moreover Bangladeshis are oftenly found in the arena.

It was established in 1969 by the University of Burdwan as Burdwan University medical College. The college campus is quite big spread over 51 acres of land. The hostel is also big and spacious. No doubt this is one of the few good medical colleges of west bengal.

It's my College.My second Home. College and Hostel are very close.
Location also very good from Bardhaman railway station and busstand.

Nice but Not like Our IPGME&R and SSKM Hospital 😁

This medical college is not so-called super speciality hospital but it's provide us very good service to our regional health sector ...burdwan Birbhum..

It's one of best medicine institute in West Bengal. Big area, good infrastructure, high quality teachers.

If you ever get a chance , do visit Burdwan Medical, and I would definitely suggest visiting the extended wing of Burdwan Medical College and Hospital, Anamoy , a super speciality extension of Cardiology department.

Very good campus. Neet and clean. Staff Behaviour good. There are 3 canteens available for food.
