Deccan Corner

A great place to relax, chill or eat. You have various restaurants, quick snacks, garden to enjoy your time. There are PMT bus available from and at this place. The environment feels lively and fresh every time I visit. To have a complete experience of this place I will suggest you to visit it in the evening after 5pm or if you want a peaceful time, then you can visit it in morning before 9am.

Deccan corner , as name suggests , it's a corner with a intersection , and one road joining Prabhat road and its inter nal lanes , extending to law college rd.. Almost 2.75 km ..

Coming from lakdi pool , turning on karve road , then there's a signal ...
The place on the left with small shops or tapri that's deccan corner...
There are auto rickshaws waiting , tea stall , snacks joint , puncture shop , and Key makers ...

One of the busiest place in Pune City as it's a junction of many roads coming from various parts of the city like PMC, shaniwar wada , Kothrud, Sinhgad road, market yard,sarasbaug,tilak road,FC road,JM road,etc . Therefore it faces heavy traffic issues especially during festivals and peak hours. Also many restaurants and shops are located near by.

Very crowdy place. Attractive destination. One can have public transport facility to every part of city. All types of market is here. 😀

It is a junction with heavy traffic in peak hours...towards south leads to kothrud, east Punecity, west fc road, shivaji nagar.

Only problem in this khandoji baba Chawk is that 99% times traffic signal is off at evening time . Even if police are there , they don't give equal time to vehicles from all sides, time allocated is uneven and causing problem to pedestrians .

Amazing place to hangout. There are so many iconic food restaurants and cafes. Good place for shopping also (mainly for girls).

Deccan Gymkhana, a residential district with colonial-era buildings on wide tree-lined streets, centers on its namesake sports complex, with tennis courts and cricket fields. Fergusson College Road and Jangali Maharaj Road are busy strips with international brand stores, indie boutiques, global eateries, and stalls serving local snacks. Hong Kong Lane’s inexpensive clothing shops are popular with students.
