You can shop for clothing, grocery, drinks, utensils, iron and steel products, cement, hotel items, paper, cartoon box etc. You can speak Bengali, hindi or Assamese here. Some shops know Manipuri and English too. You can bargain. It's a nice place. It's border between Manipur and Assam.

Jirighat is one of the oldest a small town located on the westernmost part of Manipur, adjoining the Cachar district of Assam state. It falls under Jiribam district. If someone wants to go to Jiribam by Road State govt sponsored Buses and other pvt. light vehicles like cruzer are available at Imphal. It has service in the morning.
