Paloicherra is a small village situated in Hailakandi district of Assam. Paloicherra Bus Stop is 46 KM away from Hailakandi Town Civil Hospital and 21 KM from Bairabi, Mizoram Railway Station. The nearest railway station is Jamira Rail Station which is just 700 M away from the Bus Stop. The native people mostly speaks Bengali among others like Manipuri, Khasi, Hindi etc. The Village is currently at a developing stage, many lanes/bylanes are yet to be constructed, modern amenities like Electricity and Water Supply are available at some area. The main entrance road (Pucca) of the village at one end connects to the Dhaleswari river in the east and at another end connects with the National Highway in the west.
