Rooms are good, but i was committed for 1700 when I booked through phone and when I visited they raised to 1900, and said only that room available, no others available. Food very average and the utensils are not at all cleaned properly. Don't plan for taking their restaurant food. Even road side food is very good which is in front of them. On the whole very average.

I only ate (meals) at the hotel aaryas. The normal meals were fine, but the service might need to be better.
Surprisingly, the lunch cost Rs.90, and I handed over a Rs. 200 note. The server paid the bill, gave me Rs.100, and then showed me Rs.10, which he kept in his pocket. I had no choice but to presume that was a tip.
Is there a shift in server attitudes? What are your thoughts about it?

The room was very big and could accommodate 3 adults comfortably with a king size bed & a single bed. The bathroom was also huge and had both hot & cold water.
I wanted a non a/c room and it was Rs 1000 which is very reasonable. My only concern was that it could be noisy since it was just directly opposite MGR (Maattutavani) bus interchange. But to my surprise, it was not noisy at all. I went well after mid night but the attendants were very accommodating.
The vegetarian tiffin at their restaurant was also nice and reasonably priced.
Overall this is a nice place to rest when in Madurai, Maattutavani area.

The hotel ambiance is good and the food is also worth for money. The main good thing is they are providing soup and garlic ball for everyone for any food that you order . Service is comparative better .
Must try : All foods
Must not try : Tea / improperly cleaned cup
