Hare Krushna Lodge

Just behind the temple. it's an Average Budget Hotel. rooms and Toilet were clean. since it's a very old hotel and some renovations going on little clumsy here and there. Reception and people over there are really good and friendly.
please expect for what you pay not what you want. just for over night stay you may go for it.

If it comes to Shri Jagannath ji darshan only then i found this place 100% perfect..Safe, Nearby , Market , Helpful Staff , Proper guidance...all u will get here...I stayed 2 day , rooms are not very big but if ur mind is set for darshan then u will find this place superb..with AC and Non AC rooms ..Some government construction is going on but that is not a big problem... Faithful staff

Worst behavior and service by the staffs . Best thugs of puri. If u do any request no one is here to receive. TV was just for show, when I asked for it, they said it was no working.
The behaviour of the staff was worst. When I request that the shower switch was broken(switch is absent) , they said they will do that, but nothing was done by them.
And lastly they said they don't care what customer think about them when I said that about rating. They told me some price but demand 100 more.
But room was good and neat clean.

Your entire plan and mood to visit Puri will be wasted if you decide to stay here. They guy sends an auto from the hotel who charges us 200 for a short distance. They took money to make sure that we get to sight see Udaygiri, Khandgiri, Konark, Lingraj, Dhauli, Mukteshwar but we were taken in a bus to Chilka lake and were asked to spend 6hours there. They wasted an entire day. When we communicated with the owner he promised to make arrangements for sightseeing and apologized for what happened. But there was no arrangements met. Also, the room provided to us was extremely cramped up. you can barely walk. The bed could have broken at any moment. We checked out of the room with back aches. In the name of Wi-Fi , they provide their phone WiFi which also doesn't work.

They only good thing about this Jagannath temple is at a stone throw distance.

The hotel is worth the amount of money charged for the stay. The rooms need a bit of renovation. But the bathrooms are clean & tidy. Very close to the Jagganath Temple. Good Service at affordable price.
