People say that it's haunted but for it's an old place it may look spooky I've noticed an inverted star at the top I could take a pic of it but😣 I'll soon update😥

Last visited January, 2020. Place is nice but the library collection is not up to the mark as should be in the district library. The people working here is well behaved but need more more Library science training.

It's a quaint Library situated near chawrasta Darjeeling. The library has the old world charm with underground rooms connected by wooden stairs . It has great collection of books both in English and Bengali . The library was actually a restaurant during the British period as was told by people there. However it requires maintenance The library staff is polite and well behaved . And unlike in big cities it's a pleasure to see people actually visiting the library to read and issue books.
