Sheshadri Iyer Memorial Hall (STATE CENTRAL LIBRARY)

The Sheshadri Iyer Memorial is now a place in the centre of the Cubbon park with thousands of trees around.

The reddish color in between the greens all around is a soothing view to the eyes. There are a lot of books and there is a bus which has hundreds of books.

Many people come around to walk by with pets and reading books is something really good. A cool study environment and great infrastructure makes it a heaven for book lovers.

Extremely old and has a rustic charm. But maintaining it has to be improved. Timings from 8:30 am to 7:30pm. One can carry their own books and laptop inside for studies, no any restrictions.

Very Good library to go and full fill your thirst for any subject. You will find students and lot of local people doing so. Had a very beautiful wooden ceiling & a nice ambiance of library.Go and enjoy the place. 👍🏾

A must visit place for bookaholics. Situated inside the cubbon park, it is easily accessible via metro. The library has a Greek architecture. It's colour, location and collection of books are unique. Don't need a membership to enter. But a mask is mandatory.

Located in the center of the vast lavished cubbon park, the red coloured building hoses this center library.

The Rose Garden before the library is another attraction to all the visitors. The variety of roses are just splendid.

Library will be closed every Monday, 2nd Tuesday of month & all public holidays.
