I went today at this Delhi Public Library for the first time to make a library card so as to lend some books to read. The library is at the second flool and to my disappointment very small. The entire library is in just one so how average sized room and I'm pretty sure it might lack the quantitative aspects of books. You may find some good books. Right now the registration is FREE(!!!). The staff is very helpful and polite. Some students can be found outside the library room sitting on the only table they have(maybe 4 seater). You can go and read books in quietness as it's really in a peaceful locality and has good air ventilation. -1 stars because of its size. Not hard to find and locate(if you have Google maps and good enough eyes). Overall, it's okay. The govt. Should work to upgrade the library. Its a good humble place but need major upgradation.

THis simple yet adequate delhi public library is situated at sarai rohilla, on the 2nd floor of the area mcd building. It has some amazing collection of books. It is a heaven for book lovers. Very few people know about it, the library has few members and hardly anyone visits it. Sometimes i find students sitting outside reading books making notes. It is quiet and beautiful space. The library incharge is a decent fellow and always helpful. I really want the govt. to spend money for its upkeep and development so that kids can come there and read about our culture and heritage. This is one place which keeps our glory and traditions still alive in those amazing books...

Good Library for beginners and medium level readers. Nearby Landmark is khandelwal dharamshala. Recent Librarian is very helpful and working hard to improve the overall architecture of Library.

Nice place and decent enough to sit in and drown yourself in world of books.

Decent and humble library by delhi government. Even provides scooter parking. Quite close to metro. Best suited for students and aspirants. Most of the books are available. Nice and polite staff unlike stereotypical government offices.

A good collection of books with really low membership cost. However, they require stamp of a gazetted officer on the membership form which is unnecessary redtape.

Don't judge the book by it's cover.Though the infrastructure is not very great but It's a really great place and the librarian were also very hospitable. A good collection of books for college and competitive students. Would definitely recommend going there.
