Delhi Public Library

One of the worst maintained libraries I've ever seen. No fresh stock of books are present and neither the library staff is cooperative.

The Central Library of Delhi public library is located at S.P.Mukherjee Marg, Opp. old Delhi railway station, Delhi-6. This is the first library of Delhi Public Library started in the year 1951. The library consists of Circulation Section for Adults, Children Section, Reference Section, Social Education Department, Extension Department and Reading Room. This library is also having two Auditoriums namely "Amir Khusro and Geetanjali" Which can be hired for programs. The total covered area of this library is 5890sq, mts.

Best place for study as the environment is quite and peaceful...
Love the place and people are helpful..

Best place to study when you can't Study at home . competitive books are available. You need to have a membership card to enter and study. Sufficient light and sitting area, quite and peaceful , crowd is also decent. Highly recommended .gets bit noisy in evening as shooting practice is going on upstairs

But they charge monthly 200 rs
