Niraj International School (Best CBSE School in Kompally)

We are proud parents of Vihaan Ummanolla and Riaan Ummanolla studying in 4th and 1st grade respectively. After long search for school for my elder son we went with Niraj and it’s been 6 year from then and for our second son we didn’t had second thought. Now both of them enjoy and look forward everyday to go to school . During the pandemic online classes and even now during offline classes teachers have planned many activities to keep kids connected with the concept taught by the teacher. The school has all advanced infrastructure that ensures students have the best facilities available. It is one of the best CBSE school in Hyderabad. It ensures the safety of all the students. As they say, they truly believe that education does not end at the classroom door, they take it beyond classroom into the field. People at Niraj international school are so supportive, encouraging, and friendly. I can strongly say that it is one of the best options available .

My child Harsha Vardhan uyyala studying in sr.kg is so happy going to school everyday. Downgrading it to 1 star -Again lack of response or follow up on original feedback

Giving it two stars as there are lot of opportunities that management overlooks, inspite of bringing it to their attention.

1. Transport system is horrible . Even after complaints to the principal everything goes unnoticed
The transport department has excuses for everything- we finally decided to hire a driver just to make sure our kid is comfortable with pickup and Dropoff

2. Some teachers are really good but some lack the basic education needed to be smart enough to cater to kids needs.
This is primarily because of Niraj being money conscious and has no standard practice or training for their teachers .
It feels like the they treat teachers as replaceable and do not value the good ones- saying this seeing the turn over of teachers associated with our kid over 3 years .

3. They keep switching between IB and CBSE , which to my understanding has been primarily due to money. Their focus has been lost - should go back to a normal school rating rather than being called international.

4. Infrastructure keep up if minimum and their facility is going to be obsolete in a few years - again prioritizing profit over core values .

5. They need to have consistent and better management who is more involved rather than just being hands off.

6. They need to learn that education includes sports, kids development on various fronts and not just what ranking their students get in board exams- have never seen them send out anything related to achievements in other fields, but only how much %age their students get in board exams.
There is a lot to child’s development than just grades

This school just keeps getting worse and worse.

Clearly shows they don’t care to find out what may be the issue instead are happy living in a bubble they think is good.

1. Horrible communication: even after pointing this out several times and repeatedly asking for information, it only falls on deaf ears.

2. Management is getting worse day by day : This is by no standard an international school

3. I feel sorry for the staff as I think they are being led without guidance

In one word all i can say is "The Best CBSE School in Kompally"

Coming to the teaching staff, they have excellent teaching staff, Hindi Teacher Deepali, Science teacher Vijaya Lakshmi, Math teacher Sandhya and English Teacher Niraj, Every one is well qualified.

Transport Department, all the drivers are well experienced and every morning they greet kids with a warm smile while pickup.
All the ayyas are very caring, kind & polite.

Cafeteria is very clean and hygienic food.
Washrooms are very neat and cleaned after every use.

Most of all both my Kids enjoy going to school and are good in studies and sports.

One of the best schools I have come across.
We used to live in another city and followed Montessori method till then. As any parent we were worried about finding a good school here in Kompally and after going through so many schools we finalized Niraj.
Such a beautiful school, teachers are respectful not only towards parents but even with the students. They take their time in teaching the subject making sure every kid understood properly. They are not in the race to finish the portion or compare with any school. This school is confident in what they teach and take pride in their students.I am always welcomed to share my concerns with them whether it is positive or negative which are always sorted out the moment I mention them. The moment you enter the school there is this sense of warmth you feel which builds our confidence in them.
A special thank you to the Director Sir Gavesh Reddy for being so patient with the parents and who understands that a school can be run only when the whole school, teachers and parents support each other. Also a special thank you to Raksha ma'am as well who also very keenly listens to parents concerns and works towards it.
In these days no school maintains this much transperancy between parents. No school would openly accept us without appointments as well but Niraj never lets a parent go back without being heard and this itself shows that students mean alot to them.
They have beautiful infrastructure, activities and other celebrations for kids. Having two kids is this school I can vouch that Niraj International School is one of the best schools in Kompally.

NIS isa great school for kids. I would highly recommend it to others. It has an amazing facility and the teachers are very friendly and helpful. My daughter has been going there since she was in nursery and she loves it!

Excellent teachers and amazing extra curricular activities. Very satisfied with school and overall curriculum.
