Interiors were well decorated. The food was very good but the quantity was very less according to the price. I am accustomed to getting a lot with same quality and price at other places. The staff were very slow. Our order was messed up two times. They took 10 min just for billing

Ambience is good but food was horribly pathetic. Both the quality and the quantity of food was not appropriate. Late service and attendance by staff to our order was really disappointing. Wrong order delivery and what not bad. I must say the place with such good location and ambience but tasteless food makes the proverb fit "All that glitters is not gold." Overall bad experience and the hotel management should consider this and work over it to make the restaurant better.

The location is good, the interior and ambience is great but the only thing that matters when you are hungry is food and it was the worst.
The chef needs to improve a lot.
Everything was plain (Kadhai Paneer was sweet, Matar mashroom was plain and murgh qorma was pathetic for a non veg).
Even the service manager when given the feedback was cold like ice. Not even consolation for the waste of money.
Hope that your food will one day match your ambience.

What an experience! ......It's not just beautiful ambience but food was delicious too . Definitely not for the people who like ordinary regular oily and spicy curries but for the rich and plain yet subtle gravies to treat your palate . Service was done by Sarvendra and he was fantastic ......keep up the good work guys !

The worst restaurant experience that I ever had...we went with family for breakfast n they told only buffet were available per person 250...the items were upma, bread toast, aloo paratha only..with tea..coffee machine was also not working..the service of attendants were also not satisfying...it took us more than 45mts to get omelette once v ordered...
After that v cancelled it.
In short it was utterly a wastage of time n money...

Sauma has great interiors and tasty food. The waiters and other employees are genial and accomodating and will be ready to serve to your every restaurant related inquiry. Situated right on the main road it is easy to spot, however the parking area and the entrance is muddy and makes a bad first impression. It has family size proportions and is priced accordingly.
Baingan Bharta (eggplant) and chilli paneer are a speciality but the Paneer Kali Mirch was off the mark.

Outstanding service, excellent cuisine and food, great ambiance, make up for an overall very positive and great experience of dining at "Sauma". We were staying at a nearby hotel and had just casually walked in for dinner considering it a regular restaurant, and certainly didn't expect to discover a world class hospitality service and dining experience right here in Agra. A truly "fine dining" experience at a moderate, unassuming pricing, making it great "value for money".

Every aspect of the restaurant testifies the keen attention to detail, thoughtfulness and love of the founders - right from the choice of an exotic and profound name of the restaurant (implying a rare nectar, as referred in ancient Indian scriptures), to the font used in the menu, to the menu and cuisine itself, the interiors, decor, lighting, mood and ambiance- all lend "character" to the restaurant (which a discerning patron cannot miss) and the restaurant unmistakably lives up to its profound name.

The service is another aspect of excellence that certainly deserves a mention here, the staff is extremely well trained and deft at attending a guest with astute thoughtfulness and hospitality. Besides, the sheer variety of the rich menu takes you by surprise- I was dining along with an Afghan friend and we were pleasantly surprised to find "haft mewa" in the deserts section! (traditional Afghan preparation of seven dry fruits in sugar syrup, popularly offered around "Navroz"- the new year and spring time)
