hotel was good👍. room was small but manageable for a night. only soap, shampoo and body wash was there no toothbrush and paste.Location is great, in the middle of market. But the biggest problem is there was no lock in the door.I mean the anyone from outside can open the door with key. So you have to trust the hotel persons. Another big issue is they don't provide water, if you buy from them they will charge you 30 rs for a 20 rs bOttle and they will not provide any bill for the bottle. I think it is little bit overpriced for that room.

The room quality is good at this price range. Passenger lift is old and troublesome. Room space and Bathroom quality is abode average. The staff are cooperative.

The only thing lacking bout this place is that the rooms could've been little better; the amenities and facilities are a little on the backside.
But the quality (slightly lower) of the room is matched by it's super friendly services. The staff are young and very well behaved and so much positivity in their welcome and mannerisms. A big like for such good vibes. ❤️❤️💯💯
Location wise it is finely situated, a min's walk from Indian Museum and 7 min walk to the main Esplanade junction.
Whenever there'll be a program to stay in Kolkata (Esplanade) I'd gladly choose this guest house.
Just an improvement of room quality and you're the best as one can get... 👍👍💯💯

Secured, Good service & Comparatively economical, close to new market. That is why stay this hotel whenever I go to Kolkata. Complementary breakfast item has been reduced than I visited to last time.

I got bad behaviour from staff reception desk, actually they are very unwilling to any service to guest, room quality is very low! suggestion is to avoid this hotel! specially for online booking will become nightmare for couples or families!

Totally unaccomodating staff

It was once the guesthouse of Salvation Army. During that period, mostly the members of Salvation community used to board there. Now it is just a commercial guesthouse with affordable rooms with basic amenities like warm water, clean linen etc. Most of the guests nowadays are Bangladeshi tourists. It is popular with large family. Exclusive parking facility is an added attraction.

Was clean and good. But the price was a bit high for budget traveller's. We left a cell phone charger in one of the rooms when we checked out, and the hotel had kept it in the name of the person who had checked in. Felt really great. I would recommend this Hotel as good as well as safe.
