This hotel is not at all a good staying place for family members. 130 to 150 square feet rooms in the ground floor costs 1600/-. In this double bedded room, only one blanket had been provided. Despite our repeated requests they didn't provide us additional one. Manager was very reluctant and indifferent in addressing any of our problems. We had to go out side for our dinner as they claimed one mutton plate, contains 5 pieces of mutton@ 350/-. Now, the most surprising part is that, the management did not enter our details in their register nor our ID cards were checked. I never experienced such incident any where in India. So, visitors may go there at their own risk.

I can't believe that this type of hotel build in sundarban. This is the best luxurious hotel of sundarban, Room is very luxurious, food quality is mind blowing. I want to visit agin nest time.

This is the most beautiful Hotel at Sundarban,we travel 10 member together,hotelier arrange Boat food and permission to visit sundarban National Park.The Boat is more luxurious than Other Boat,1st day we visit Baghna,Marichjhapi,Jhingakhali WT and Burirdabri WT near Bangladesh,Hotelier arrange Lunch on Boat,Food quality of the hotel is very good but Little Expensive.Day-2 we visit sajnekhali WT,Sudhanna khali WT and Pakhiraloy Market after drink coconut water we all return Hotel and Hole night enjoy in hotel with DJ music..This Hotel arrange Best Tour package in Sundarban.Tha staff of this hotel is very friendly....Thank you Hotel Royal Island.

Though the interiors were designed well but the service and maintenance was simply pathetic. Flush was not working, hot water was not available, even the hotel did not provide water to drink.. We were on a trip in package. The facilities promised in the package were not known by the hotel or they intentionally did not provide.. All over it was a frustrating and a disappointing experience!!

Nicely done up hotel considering the location. Food is good but best to order in advance. Prawns and crabs are especially good and the mishto doi is really delicious.

rooms are nice but staff are not at all attentive. Surrounding place is a ghat and not a tourist place at all. From there people can book boats and go for river sight seeing in various islands

The place have zero views from every rooms. The managers behaviour was outstandingly casual . The place of the hotel may be good for public transport but not for river veiw. Mmt had mentioned that the room will be with River view but there was e view of next roof top. So pls dont expect any veiw. But the kitchen and food quality was at per rate and very mediocre. Rooms are very well equipped with full amenities. Room service were good. But so much problem of power cut. Go there only to stay at room and to have rest and sleep.

average hotel. Will not get the upto the mark service. I have booked 02 AC Deluxe rooms ... after that I have to asked them for TV activation ultimately which was not done for one room and other amenities like electric iron etc... most of the room lights will not work. no ventilation in bathroom , flush was not working properly.
Prawns and crabs are especially good and the mishto doi is really delicious.
