HONEST REVIEW!! I booked 2 Ac deluxe rooms during monsoon season. my experience in this hotel was really amazing. At the beginning while we checked in we faced water flooded inside the hotel premises, but very soon it all got normal. the view from the hotel was fantastic including the food and the hotel staff. Rooms were clean and tidy. couldn't think of a better place than Hotel Sonar Bangla. would definitely visit again.

It was a one night stay, it was okay not something you are look upto. Its definitely not value for money. Service was not good, we checked in after the mentioned check-in time still the rooms were not ready. Bathroom was not cleaned, freezer was not there in room. We had requested a room in any floor except ground floor but they specifically alloted me a ground floor room only. Swimming pool was not operational as the entire resort was flooded with sea water dur to the high tides. I noticed lack of maintenance and all the parts which were damaged during cyclone has not yet been repaired. This is not expected when you are charging premium but not delivering the expectations of your guests. Food was good but they dont have much options n their breakfast. Never visit there duing full moon as the entire property gets flooded. Even we had to park our cars outside the hotel premises as hotel authority asked as to move our cars due to the flood. I believe hotel authority should take measures to prevent entering the sea water this way.

It was a most memorable stay in a clean and excellent sea view room.
The resort was well maintained but sea access is over broken stones and difficult.
The room was cleaned everyday by housekeeping staff to our specifications since we were traveling with a one year old child.
The kitchen staff were very cooperative.
Food was tasty, good quality and adequate in quantity.
Overall a fantastic experience for my child's first vacation.

Very nice hotel and right on the beach. We booked the AC Deluxe room on the first floor and the room we got is awesome, the balcony is facing the sea and we wake up in the morning looking at the sea from bed. Ambience is good and the hotel staff are really nice, very prompt with their service. Only downside - the room is a bit small for 3 adults and no extra beds were provided.
Quality time spent together and relaxing in the balcony.

Behavior of the staff as well as their services are very satisfying.
The property is so huge and well maintained that I don't feel the need to go anywhere else as they have their own beach.
In-house restro is also good.One should definitely try the fish items over there..Again the behavior of restaurant's boys are very very impressive..
About cleanliness its quite good..
The only negative point I can tell is that they should provide both swim tees and shorts on rent for boys..

Excellent excellent hotel in Mandarmoni and easily the best place to stay in. Check in and check out was a breeze. The hotel staff were really helpful and professional. The rooms were amazing and very well maintained. The bed was huge, soft and very comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom was very clean and decent. The toiletries provided were of high quality and replenished every day. The towels were large and soft. The restaurant was really good and the food very tasty and portion was sufficient. The pool was very clean and well maintained. Definitely recommend it.

Restaurant’s team was exceptionally helpful. My kid had food allergies & doesn’t eat most of the Indian food . The restaurant has customized their buffet menu to include food options for my kid. The buffet offers wide variations of quality & tasty food. The staffs were very friendly & nice.
Of course the location was good since it’s right on the beach but too many mosquitoes in the balcony (so I would consider not to pay high price for those rooms next time)
Sea facing rooms were clean, well maintained & room service was good. Especially the restaurant serves food in room with no extra cost.
Price too high , especially for driver’s rooms it doesn’t make sense to pay that much.

Nice quiet getaway from town. Staff were really accommodative and helpful. The facilities were good and clean. Rooms were clean and presentable. Bathroom however needs some rework. Swimming pool had too much of chlorine in it perhaps. Food was so-so, doable. Overall experience was good.
