I had read very positive reviews of the Anamitra before getting there, so really was expecting exceptional things. However, I was genuinely impressed with this guest house. Really friendly atmosphere that pervades the place, generated by the warm welcome at reception, and continued in things like shampoo, shower gel, soap & morning kit being provided. The staffs were very helpful in giving tips and tricks.
Complimentary breakfast was given as per choice & homemade delicious food is available, you can customize each item as per your choice.
The room was clean, with plenty of space. Bed was comfortable and made daily! Bathroom was always spotless.
Overall, I felt safe and welcome in this guest house (especially as a solo young female traveller) and genuinely enjoyed my time in It.! Highly highly recommended.

In one word, excellent. Hotel staff are extra precautious in maintaining the guidelines for covid situation. Registration is smooth contactless through App. They don't keep you waiting after a long journey. They offered sanitizer and face mask. They are considerate and collaborate with government policies. Food is served outside your room and the quality is superb. Light meals with lots of variety. Room condition was tip top with all basic needs served.
The housekeeping staff wear PPE kits to maintain safe distancing and non-contacting policies. They sanitize the room daily with atomizing disinfection machine and sanitizing spray machine.I would like to specifically appreciate all the members of the team who has been very helpful and cooperative in terms of serving my needs. I felt at staying at home. I thank the entire facility for giving an excellent service.

The best place to stay in Kolkata. If any one of you Mizos are reading this. If you don't get a place in the Mizoram House. Go stay there. It's quite near by and they treat us really well.

Been there a couple of times, the rooms are cozy and clean.The washroom on the 1st and the 2nd floor is a bit small but the washroom room on the room with adjacent balcony is pretty big.The staffs are polite and helpful.Good place in a reasonable rate.

Enjoyed my stay here during my Kolkata visit. Abhishek, Pooran and Taposh were most helpful, efficient and constantly responding to multiple requests with constant smiles and a positive attitude.
From room service to personal errands to assisting our guests the boys were rock stars. I have experienced many 5 star hotels abroad with shoddy service. Happy to say nothing beats Indian hospitality and especially Anamitras staff. Thank you guys for all your help. God bless and good luck :)
