We booked two deluxe lake view rooms in this hotel for one night of a long weekend. However, on reaching the hotel we were informed that the hotel is booked out and the only room available was a single four bed that wasn't lake view. Due to a lack of options at the time of arrival, we were forced to take that room. The hotel was booked out because Goroomgo, which is a Travel Agent, does not check for existing bookings with the hotel before posting their rooms online. This causes multiple bookings even though the hotel is booked out. The receptionist informed us that there were 18 rooms but 35-40 bookings for that weekend. Terrible experience, we had to stay on call for about 3 hours with Goroomgo and Agoda, only for Goroomgo to block all our numbers and stop responding. Agoda eventually agreed to pay us back a partial refund in Agoda cash (again very disappointing, since what can we do with it once we have already booked?). The hotel itself is alright, the washrooms are terribly maintained and unhygienic. The taps don't work and the water is often cold. If you do stay here, try to find things to do during the day to stay out of the hotel as long as possible. The rooms aren't very clean, the bed sheets don't fit the strange bed sizes, and the room lighting is extremely strange, with a mix of green and blue. We didn't bother trying the food at the hotel after our horrible experience.

Booked this through Agoda. 2 star only because of it's COMMON balcony view, otherwise services and everything like windows were shaky, bedsheets unclean, broken and dirty toilet deserve a minus five star (-5*). We booked this property online, but when we reached at location they rejected my booking and provided a back side small room with double rate. Overall extremely not recommended. :(

I made the mistake of booking this place despite the poor reviews as I was in a hurry and thought what’s the worst that could happen? I couldn’t have been more wrong.
This place is a sham and a lie. The photos and the location mentioned online are all wrong and misguide the customer.
Firstly, we took an hour to find this place going around on foot and asking people where this might be - no one knew as even the name mentioned here is wrong. We asked cops, guides, people but no one knew. There wasn’t even a phone number any where - not here not Google. As Nanital has steep and narrow roads taking your car around isn’t feasible either.
To our luck and after being completely frustrated we found one guy who was able to decipher that the name was misleading and took us there. But post getting there it wasn’t any better, but more disappointing. It’s nothing like the pictures! The rooms smell of urine, the mattress is completely broken and almost shredding into pieces, and the bathrooms with their broken buckets were worse than public toilets.
We were so upset at this point that we simply decided to leave and didn’t even care about how we had already paid the money upfront through Agoda. We just wanted the nightmare to end. This was the worst choice ever because of the misleading photos, address and so claimed 2-star rating.

First of all groomgo is a broker they do not have any hotels or whatever of thier own , so pics and location they are showing are all false . We booked by paying full in advance for lake view nainital when we reached there we got to know there is no such property , location was of different hotel which denied our booking saying you have not booked us , call to groomgo they . After 6 hours of continuous followup on road with my wife and child of 2 yrs in hot afternoon , they arranged a hotel which was 1 km away from nainital lake . Not worth of price which we paid for lake view . There was no refund as well . It was disasterous trip i ever had bcz of groomgo scam .

Poor hotel. Don't consider it for stay. Very poor service. No one available at night if needed help. No prompt service, no refuelling water, one have to go himself to fill water.

They mentioned that they have 24*7 front desk facility; actually this really doesn't mean. They are telling lie to customers. And no 24*7 room service. This hotel is very very bad for stay and holiday experience

After reading so much negative review I was apprehensive about my stay. But!
I didn't find any issue the room was proper as per the price and it's stupid to expect quality at this price. Still the hotel had a good staff and they were pretty prompt, contrary to what is being stated. The location is perfect as everything (bus stop, mall road, boating spot) is at walking distance from the hotel. The view from room had an excellent lake view.
They even let you keep your baggage for sometime if you have checked out. As I had some extra time to go back so I asked them if they can keep my luggage which I would pickup later.
Overall, my stay was comfy and pleasent.
