Quite disappointed with my overall experience. Paid 7200 for a deluxe room which was small and had a terrible view. The room was not clean and they hadn't even stocked the room with basic amenities. Even on request they couldn't provide a hair conditioner. Another issue is that there is no privacy as anyone even walking outside can be heard inside the room.
The only good thing about the place was the food which was nice and the staff who were courteous.
Overall extremely overpriced, I could have found much better properties in this price range.

Awesome property. Beautifully located in hills. The view from hotel is simply awesome. Rooms and washroom are much spacious and comfortable. Food quality is also good and varied. Recommended for each and every family and couples visiting to mussoorie.

Dunsvirk is beautiful resort. 10 mins drive from mall road.. goes all the way to top.
Hotel is kept really clean and staff is very courteous.
You’ll get serene view from hotel room ( make sure to upgrade accordingly)

We stayed at Dunsvirk Court from 22nd on Nov to 24th of Nov for a total period of 2 nights and three days. To brgin with the location,if you have a capable car and driving skills, you can reach the hotel hassle free as its situated on the top of the mussoorie, the way to the property is quite steep, but its worth it for the view one gets once he/she reaches the top. Rooms are ok ok types, nothing much.Even the top of the line rooms i.e The luxury rooms are basic ones, nothing extra ordinary as the name suggests. On your stay you will notice cost cutting stingy things like no hot water readily available or no water pressure at all,no bath robes,no towels,no towel slippers....just the room is given and everything else only if asked for. Most of the items on the food menu arent available. They even had no Maggie. Mall road is about 1.5kms from this hotel, they have no means of transportation as such,if they provide you with some car, that car would be at the worst of its condition. We were provided with the one that was used for transporting raw material and literally had no seats, yet they charged us money for that(as per their so called hotel policy but no service standards). Food was ok in the breakfast...was nice but with no variety. They literally had no manpower...We could count the number of personnel on our fingertips,no wonders why their service was poor. The reception guy at our welcome was quite nice but the one who was at the reception at 6am,was so blunt and coarse and cold. Overall its a nice hotel being run by inefficient staff or maybe the cost cutting that doesnt let the staff work to their efficiency. Better not go if service and class is all that you are looking forward to.

Amazing views from the resort. They serve awesome finger licking food. The only thing lacking was the service promptness. We had to call four to five times to reception for some things and they didn't pick the call soon. That was the only negative point about the resort.

I definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to Mussoorie . Highest property in Mussoorie so that you can enjoy nearly 360 degrees views. We stayed here for couple of night and the stay was very satisfying. Food was delicious and staff was courteous. Only problem was the road to the property if you are coming with your car . I don't recommend if you are not a pro driver. But you can take cab for coming down to Mall road and can reach comfortably.
Although the property is beautiful with English architecture

It has got all that a customer looks for in a hotel. Delicious food, spacious and clean rooms, spectacular views from the room balcony and the restaurant early morning and night. I will be sharing some pictures for you to believe it. We were also offered a great deal by Mr. Param being parents of a son who studies in Mussoorie. The location is at quite a height and driving uphill to reach the hotel is a tedious job but believe me when I say, its WORTH IT!!!

Wouldn't come here again if you paid me.
We arrived here on Christmas Eve in the middle of our northern India holiday of a lifetime, to spend 3 precious days and nights relaxing in between the touring.
The rooms were good, the food was good, the views were amazing but the areas to relax and the management were very poor.
We'd planned to spend time in the lounge areas, read and relax, overlooking stunning views of Mussoorie and the Himalayas.

However, the lounge areas and dining areas were stone-cold. On arrival at lunchtime, we were told the heating was working, and then they confirmed it wasn't. There was a technical issue that they couldn't fix until the next afternoon. We sat there in the cold with hats, coats and scarves for lunch and later for dinner too. The next day (Christmas Day) we had breakfast and spent the time out walking in Landour and returned to the cold of the hotel again. We were told that the heating was fixed but they hadn't put it on. After an hour of the heating being on, we were still sat in the lounge and dining areas in the cold.

For next two days, the temperature improved but often they only put the heating on if we'd mention it to them. Other guests, like us, ate their meals with hats, scarves and coats. No one too impressed with the staff, their response nor the temperature of the communal areas.

As ever, it's not what's wrong but how you respond and the response here was pretty pathetic.
