Hotel Amanda - Rooms & Banquet

The hotel is located near Sahara Hospital, if you're using ola/uber services make sure you type "Hotel Amanda" instead of "LavenderStayz" else it will land you in totally wrong place. Hotel and rooms are clean and hygienic. Hotel has its own restaurant. On contrary to the goibibo mentioned policy, they don't allow outside food. Overall stay was nice. Reception people are helpful, however they may not attend to everything. Rooms are of optimal size and has nice interiors. Few things that were unintentionally troubling were:
1. The bathroom shower was not working and they did not care to repair in our presence.
2. The bathroom light was not working which again was troublesome.
According to the price of the hotel, these things can be improved along with addition of first aid box in every room and better hospitality. Over all stay experience was good. I will recommend this hotel for further stay.
With a little reduction in price and addition of nutritional food in the menu. This place can become a very user friendly and most loved place.

Amanda is one of the best hotel at Gomtinagar, with its good ambiance and value for money service. We were facing some issue with the washroom but Mr helped us and immediately arranged us the new room. He also helped us with car parking. Staff is very supportive. I would love to visit this hotel again.

Don't go for the ratings, the hotel was having mice everywhere even in the kitchen, even the service is pathetic, expect a response after 30 minutes atleast. They shifted us to the other property which was nearby without informing us that the property was sold out for next day and then suddenly next day morning they started asking us to leave and go back to that noise ridden property. The staff was well behaved and courteous but the property is now where justifies the price they are asking for it, also the food was also not good

Mr. Tarun(reception manager) is the soul of the hotel and rest service is entirely poor. Though the rooms are cosy and better. Stay cautious for the food you order daily and keep clearing their Bill's on daily basis... ;)

I recently visited here for my brother's Engagement and i have to say hotel is very good with ample amount of parking space for 4 wheelers as well as 2 wheelers, parking is just in front of the hotel and there are numbers of hotel situated nearby, if you want to book it for marriage and other functions then it's a good choice. Just go straight from haneman chauraha then there will be black board with metropolis (something written like that) turn left, where the board is then go straight on right hand there is amanda hotel.

I couldn’t sleep due to cockroaches and bed bugs. Their bed linen was causing itches in my whole body. Absolutely the worst. Don’t stay here.

The staff was wonderful. The hotel is well maintained. Room was clean. The food was good.Would definitely stay there again.
