Hotel Mary Land, Velankanni

Me and my husband stayed there for one day as we came to visit the shrine. House keeping people were really good and helpful but the room was not clean , bedsheet and pillow covers were dirty looks like the they have not change it. Towels were stains all over. Need to improve a lot in terms of cleanliness.

The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in and watch the church from the hotel room. High quality rooms and high quality service. Food was SOOOPER FRESH AND DELICIOUS. It is very convenient(few mins walk) to the Shrine and other activities. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. I checked in very very late and they let me check out late and to my surprise they did it without any extra charge(flexible check in and check out times) . Planning to come back in January with family….

Wonderful and comfortable stay! Church view room! Walking distance from the church. My father loved the food here so we had most of the meals in room itself. Gave one less star coz room was dusty and floor was too oily which they said was coz of chemicals used for cleaning. Slippers not provided. And the music played in the corridors during day was too loud. we came to room only for few hours to rest but the loud music disturbed a lot inside the room

Service is not to the expectation. So pathetic not even able to get coffee in the morning in room before 8 am. Especially the reason given by their staff was astounding. Only during Monday to Thursday will be served and only after 8 am. Don't understand the logic behind this. People staying or planned to have a stay be prepared for all these challenges.

Best hotel on a budget of 3k, rooms are really good and spacious, room service is fast, limited menu however quality is good. Ample parking space.

Not a good experience for what we pay. Hotel amenities are not good. Unhygienic towels, torn and used bath towel as bathroom mat etc. Unreasonably expensive food. Restaurant with poor services like staff never attends you, slow in supply, lack of items etc. For food there are many just outside, you may use that.Useless receptionists.

It was a great experience overall. Very impressed with the room cleaning and service when ever requested. Very clean compared to other hotels around. Do not prefer the restaurant inside but hotel itself gets double thumbs up from me.

Spacious rooms, very hospitable staff, delicious food from the restaurant and excellent room service. I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the church or the beach nearby
