BKR Ooty Gate Hotel

FRAUD. Waste of money and don't suggest this hotel to any of your friends or family. We had the worst service level here. Hygiene- 1/10 and rude staff. We had booked 30 rooms and in the start the manager had shown us 3-4 rooms which were good. But later when we arrived with our group it was all messed. Messed up washroom and bedrooms. We had senior citizens with us and at temperature of 10 degrees the hotel staff didn't provide us with blankets and no warm water in the bathroom. Really depressing stay here.

Nice hotel to dine with your loved ones. Remember, there are only few places in Ooty where you get good food of all regions of India. One of my friend had recommended me but I could not visit the place properly.

Everything was fine. We stayed there for about 3 hours. The taps were not properly maintained. In some rooms the hot water was not available.
The entire hotel has to be maintained regularly which they did not do.

Worst place to stay in ooty. They show you one room and make you stay in another. There is no back up generator so you have to take bath in cold water in 10 degree if there is no power. Bathroom stinks a lot. Rooms are not bad and elevator doesn't work most of the times. Never ever stay at this hotel. It just looks huge. Finally i want to say that its waste of money and you won't be comfortable

Very Nice guest house and hotel . Many facility available here . It's good for friends and family .You can visit for short periods or long term basis .
Overall good .

Hotel is still in old condition. If renovated it'll too good for the tourists

Stayed in this place with my friends during college tour in March 2018.Rooms are good and well maintained.But Hot water is available within the stipulated time.Located in the main road.Walkable distance from Charring cross.

Well the place is abandoned, looks like a haunted building as there are no lights, no people and only two people taking care of this massive place. It's dirty, without any maintenance and spooky. They need a few crores to get this place back in shape but if you want to scare people bring them here!!
