Hotel Star Residency

The foyer and reception area of the hotel is good. Rooms are a real dampener. Room service is very poor. You have to demand for every toiletries including towel if you happen to share a two bed room. AC is ineffective. Elevator is very small. Restaurant is not good.

Room service and rooms were good and pleasant. It is having swimming pool, spa, restaurant and bar. Travel desk is there to help for planning site seeing. Ample space for parking. Delicious food in restaurants. We have a good time there. Even after closing also restaurant people were managed to prepare something to eat at late night.
Overall good for stay and to enjoy.

When we checked into this I came to know that accidentally booked this room only for me instead of selecting two adults, for this reason they charged me 900 rs extra but they didn't give any additional room and facilities.. lot of issues in this hotel like Split AC not working and lift under maintenance, no water almost 2 hours and room is deserted . Totally I was charged 2765 rs for this facilities and house keeping is very bad. I would suggest better don't select this hotel and there are good hotel with reasonable price includes breakfast and dinner.. Finally receptionist called me sharp 12 pm and she asked me check out within 1 hour... this is the Worst experience ever had in my trip.

Stay quality was good. Lift wasn't working on day 1, but even after that maintenance lift was very jerky. Restaurant food is tasty but no crowd at all. Pricing is on the higher side for the restaurant and portion size little less. Rooms were good.

The stay was good. But I had booked the room through an online app. When I reached the hotel, they seemed to have no clue of my booking at first. I had booked for 3 people, business purpose. But the room provided was not specious for 3 members and all amenities which was stated in the app was not there. Even though, it was a nice stay, if considering all the facilities, ambiance and food.
Would recommend this hotel.

Good spacious rooms but poor maintenance. Only good thing is that the Hotel is near big temple. Geyser was not working in our room. Room windows were not covered with mesh as its proximity to big temple attracts bats. Yes we were embarrassed when a bat entered our room. We had to call room service to get rid of it. One of the worst stay experience in my life.

If you are looking for a pleasant stay please stay away from this place.

Decades old and overpriced hotel. Should be converted to a budget hotel asap. Restaurant has got wide range of options at competitive price. Front office and reception are courteous. Foul smell was coming from bathroom despite cleaning. Location, attitude of staff makes the hotel to get those 2 stars.

A lovely quaint small restaurant.
No allocated carpark or wheelchair ramp though.
The food is excellent, especially thr sambar.
The time taken for the food to arrive was average, maybe on the longer side... But when it came, the wait was worth it (in my opinion, especially the sambar) 😂
