HOTEL SMS GRAND INN

Rooms are small, less than 100 sf. Washroom need painting and seepage treatment. Staff behaviour is good. Location is good but avoid road facing room if traveling with a patent as 24hrs the road is busy and sound comes.

Wonderful stay at this place. Rooms are compact yet well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Very good facilities available in the rooms. Only suggestion is to place a door mat outside the bathrooms, will be of great help

I had recently stayed at this hotel..As we were traveling from Bangalore and their check out time was 12noon to next day 12noon..so 1st of all wanted to inform them,we will be little late but we couldn't reach out to them at all inspite of calling so many times then later got to know they have updated to a new number and not published anywhere yet. Secondly when we reached the hotel, whoever was there at reception he said he will upgrade our room from studio room to grand room which was a luxury but unfortunately the TV was not working, the wifi was not working for the entire hotel and intercom wasn't working. Towels were not there at room,almost after 3-4hrs after the reminder we got it. But the breakfast was really delicious.. For the breakfast quality i will give 5star😋 That's the best thing we enjoyed to the most.

Rooms are good. Location is good. Service is good but there is a scope for improvement. Overall, experience is we got more than what we expected.

On improvement side, Found very few Mosquitos. Complementary items like brush, shampoo, powder, coconut oil to be provided based on number of occupants. Bathroom door lock was locking everytime we close,, but they resolved by giving key to us.

Very comfortable stay for budget oriented people. Easy accessible to nearby hotels and bus stand. Clean and well maintained rooms. Staff members are polite and courteous in handling customers.

We stayed in this hotel in Vellore for 5days, booked a room for four of us from MakeMyTrip. Upon arrival we found that there are only two single beds in our room. When we asked the reception that the room we saw in MakeMyTrip was four people with two double beds, they ignored it, all they said is that they can give a mattress for one person to sleep on the floor. We asked for room upgradation to which they said they don't have any bigger rooms available. Coming to the room service, only one sachet of coffee and tea was there and one bottle of water was available for a day. We had to purchase cups, glasses water bottles from outside as they don't have anything in stock. Food has to be ordered from outside. They had laundry services for washing clothes and we were charged Rs.390/- for 4garments. They would only reply if you ask them in English language, as they get furious if anyone speaks in Hindi with them. It really felt absurd and weirdly funny seeing the heights of ignorance. Never visiting again and would never recommend anyone too. 👎

Rooms were neat and spacious ( executive ones ). Check in process was normal using id proof of guest. Good thing is that it's located near highway's service road, bad thing is that rooms facing roadside can be noisy. There was no restaurant inside but nearby you can find economical ones. Car parking is limited on side roads only.

The hotel is located near the highway at Sathuvachari. They have studio, smart & executive rooms. Studio rooms are only ideal for solo travelers. The rooms & bathrooms are good and well maintained. The receptionist and other are staff are well behaved and offer good service. I found the price to be a bit on the higher side, however generally cost in Vellore is high. There are chances that you will get the room at a better pricing online through websites like goibibo, MMT etc. Overall the stay was good.
