The Madurai Residency

Room is comfortable and clean. All basic kits are available. Breakfast is having varieties, tasty and worth the money. Rooftop restaurant's view and ambience is excellent. Parking is not a problem as it is managed by their security/drivers. Hotel location is near to many tourist attractions. Staffs are courteous. Overall a pleasant stay.

This hotel is situated at a very good location as all the tourist places are just a few miles away. The staff is quite helpful and polite. The only bad point about this hotel is that some of the rooms have not been maintained properly. We had booked 3 rooms out of which 2 had some problems. One room stinked and the other had some AC problem. I guess it was because the rooms were quite old and not maintained properly but they got the problems fixed quickly. Otherwise, it is a hygienic place. Even the breakfast buffet was good and had a variety of dishes.

It was a nice experience but it is more of a kind of hotel for North Indians and foreigners. I didn't get that south Indian feel here but it was nice. One small problem the hotel is on the side of a busy road and I got a room on that side only so it was noisy all day and night, but noise reduces near 11 pm, so we can sleep but early morning I heard some announcements on the road which made me wake up at 5am. Rest it is nice and obviously pay more if you want more comfort. Good hotel.

I stayed here with my parents(senior citizen) for a day. Staff is friendly and breakfast is very good. The room was small for 3 people occupancy. There was one guy who was forcing us to tip him for bringing in extra bed. Due to these two reasons I am giving 3 stars otherwise its a good place to stay.

Room was very neat and clean. Hotel is located very close to Meenakshi Amman temple. They had given early check in without extra charges. We got warm water throughout the day in the bathrooms. Very close to Madurai railway station. Enjoyed our stay, thanks.

Good hotel, stay was comfortable. Staff is cooperative and nice.
Affordable and authentic food @ in-house restaurant.

The only problem is, this hotel is on busy market street with bus stand 50 meters away so parking is sometime problematic. Moreover, a very noisy area.

This hotel is located at the prime location of Madurai.
Easy access to the Madurai railway junction and to one of the major bus station.
Madurai meenakshi temple is at walkable location to this hotel.
The hotel has decent rooms with different price range. Sure the price is competitive to the other hotels compatibly.
The hotel restaurant food is also to be appreciated and one will have no regrets staying in this hotel.

Good hotel within the city and market area. The temple was hardly less than a km away from this. Good well known hotel.
The room was good and big enough, there was a place for 2 single sofas and table.
Comfortable bedding and room AC.
All kinds of toiletries were provided.
The restaurant is on the 6th floor. There was complimentary breakfast included and there were good enough options available to choose from. The quality was good.
For lunch and dinner the rates were on the higher side so check out before ordering.
