Hotel Sodizang Retreat

The hotel room is very neat and clean and specious. The food quality is very good. The view from the balcony is also awesome. The behaviour of the staff is also polite. Overall service is excellent. You can get geyser, electric kettle. Should thank you for the great services to Mr. Pradeep Kumar and other staffs.

the location and view was amazing. the staffs are well behaved and very helpful. food quality is on an average but few items like chicken curry, aaloo parathas were good . Overall a nice and pleasant experience.

Really bad food served here. We vomited all night. We complain nobody cares. Rooms clean if you take deluxe but those rooms are on upper floor and nobody stays on upper floors because it's freezing cold. They have 2 underground floors. Prefer to stay in warm there but room below are untidy, bathrooms not clean, as most people stay underground rooms and its heavily used.
Also location is not good its up in the mountains its too cold, if you're in pelling look for hotels below the mountians

This is a great hotel in pelling. We have been looking for a hotel with kangchenjunga view. And this is it. We have got a room with balcony. The room is awesome with great price. And the morning tea with kangchenjunga view is breathtaking. The staffs are also very good. And the food is also awesome.

Amazing rooms with full view of Kanchenjunga. The food is delicious and really value for money. Staff behaviour is the icing on the cake. Must visit.

The hotel was just about perfect in terms of amenities. They had a geyser, floor carpets, a small balcony with mountain view, a cosy couch near the window, a table, two head lamps on both sides of the bed, a kettle, a small cupboard.
The room was also spacious.
Food costs slightly on the higher side.
The service is good, the men go extra way to give you what you want.
Overall, it was a cosy and a decent budget stay at pelling for me and my wife.
My wife felt pretty safe, so there was no issue.

We stayed for 2 days and it was amazing experience
Our room was mountain facing and only for 1 hour we got lucky
Breakfast was included

Room was good
Washroom was renovated I think.
We got heater and it charged 400 rs for 10 hours,which was really ok .

Early morning puri sabji was giving heavenly vibes 🤓

Staff were polite and well behaved

Food prices were reasonable
And it is situated in upper pelling
It is close to helipad ground

We stayed for couple of nights in December 2022. Very bad experience!
Do not book this hotel if you don’t want to experience the below-
1. No hot water available when the temperature outside is chilling 2degrees. Why? Staff controls the water heater & they switch on the heater only after 6.30AM
2. Pathetic breakfast! If you care for your health do not take food from hotel, unhygienic, no options & rude staffs. We had booked room with breakfast included, had worst day to start
3. No TV! They don’t recharge their provider network! Kids had hard time without tv
4. No internet! Router is at 3rd floor & all rooms are below or above & hence no internet. Essentially internet is only for reception staffs!
5. Location is inside a narrow dark road! Terrifying to reach in the night!!
